The Starry Night by the Dutch post-impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh is an oil on canvas painting created in 1889 whilst Van Gogh was staying in Arles. It is widely agreed to be one of Van Gogh’s finest masterpieces. The Starry Night now resides in the museum of modern art in New York.
