Bosch - Garden of Delights

Bosch Garden of Delights

The Garden of Earthly Delights by the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch was originally referred to as "the picture with the strawberry-tree fruits". It was painted around 1504. The Garden of Earthly Delights is probably Bosch’s most popular creation. It’s purpose was to offer a depiction of the Creation of Earth and the infiltration of sin into mankind. This oil painting on wooden panels can be read from left to right and from exterior to interior.
